Ruth Chilver
Funeral Director / Manager

Ruth has worked at Napier Park Funerals since 2016.
Originally from Dublin, Ireland, she moved to Australia in 2010 with her Australian husband and they have two gorgeous girls.
With experience across all areas of the funeral industry she believes it is her privilege to do what she can to make the bereavement process for families as smooth as possible.
Ruth feels it is an honour to help a family create a ceremony or celebration that gives them the opportunity to remember their loved one the way that they want to. She appreciates that families can trust her with caring for their loved one. Ruth understands that people are grieving and emotional at this time and she is dedicated to assisting families through all the emotional aspects of funeral planning with the utmost care and consideration when it is needed most.

Steve Geyer
Funeral Director 

Steve has gained a vast breadth of valuable knowledge and understanding following 40 years’ experience in the local funeral industry. Steve is a well recognised member of the Bendigo and district community, having grown up in Inglewood. He is well known and respected for being compassionate and considerate when dealing with grieving families and managing funerals.  Steve recognises that no two funerals are the same and it is the responsibility of Napier Park staff to ensure that you and your family are able to farewell your loved one in a manner that is right for you.

Madison Worona
Funeral Director

Madison commenced with our team at Napier Park Funerals in early 2020 and has quickly progressed within the team.
During her time with us, Madison has gained a reputation for providing a high level of professional service for families and feels it is an honour to be able to do what she can to help prepare a farewell for a families loved one.

Madison understands how important funerals are and is dedicated to going above and beyond to make things a little easier for you and take off some of the added stress that comes with the funeral planning process.
She takes pride in her attention to detail when it comes to funerals and is committed to always improving her work to make sure everything is perfect for your loved ones celebration of life.

Georgina Watts
Mortuary Manager

Georgina has been in the funeral industry for seven years and is a valued member of our team. Georgina was previously employed in the health care industry and has had over 20 years’ experience in this field. Georgina loves her role as embalmer and mortuary manager. She takes pride in her high standards and the presentation of individuals in her care, knowing it is an honour and privilege to do so.
Having an experienced embalmer as a part of our team means that Napier Park can offer a broader range of options that may assist with the grieving process such as assisted dressing, taking a loved one home, various viewing options and accommodating any cultural requests. Whatever your wishes, you can have confidence that as a team member of Napier Park, Georgina will care for your loved one with the dignity and respect that your loved one deserves.

Matthew Chapman
Funeral Director’s Assistant

Matthew has been with the Napier Park team since 2021. Matthew previously worked for twenty years in the community sector, fourteen of which were working as a community support worker assisting people experiencing homelessness in Melbourne.

Born in Castlemaine and raised in Bendigo, Matthew is now residing in Central Victoria and looks forward to assisting families in their time of need. Matthew is passionate and committed to continue providing the high level of dignity, professionalism and quality of care expected from Napier Park Funerals.

Deb Ellwood & Deb Dupuy
Catering

These wonderful ladies are our catering management team here at Napier Park, they are the friendly and warm faces you will meet when attending our new function facility. They both pride themselves on their customer care and interaction with our guests. Both ladies are lifelong Bendigo residents and love their role giving them the opportunity to interact with the local community.

Tanya Richens
Office Administration 

Tanya commenced with the Napier Park Team in Early 2023.
Tanya, her husband and 4 children moved to Bendigo 10 years ago because they loved the Bendigo Region and what it offered families.
She’s bringing to the team a wealth of knowledge and experience from her Aged Care & Healthcare background. Her compassion, exceptional customer service and eye for detail is a great addition.
Tanya connects quickly with those that she comes into contact with and appreciates the meaning and value of being able to assist families during such an important time.
She prides herself on being a valuable contributor to the quality of care Napier Park Funerals provide.
