What qualifications do I need?

Formal qualifications are not required to begin a career in the funeral industry, though training is available to strengthen skills and create future opportunities. The ability to understand people is essential, as our staff support families with empathy, respect and a gentle confidence that is among our most valued qualities.

Will I need any training?

Because of the sensitive nature of the work, employees in the funeral industry require a mature and responsible approach. They support clients who are often experiencing deep grief, which makes strong communication skills and an understanding of how people cope with loss essential.

We aim to:

  • Attract the best and brightest in our business, those that truly have a heart to serve others.
  • Retain our staff by affording them the very best training and working conditions in order to meet and exceed expectations.
  • Empower the staff with the autonomy to serve our client families at the highest level possible with full access to our resources.
